How it handles HVAC calls

Built around how heating and cooling calls actually go.

It's trained on your business, not general information: your services, the towns you cover, your hours and how you like jobs booked.

  • Safety questions first

If a caller smells gas or a carbon monoxide alarm is going off, it gives them the safety steps you choose, like leaving the house and calling the gas utility, and alerts you right away.

  • No heat sorted by urgency

It asks how cold the house is and who's at home. Using your rules, it books the first open slot or sends the call to your on-call tech.

  • Tune-ups and quotes booked

It books seasonal furnace and AC tune-ups and new system estimates into slots you've opened, and notes the equipment's age and type when the caller knows it.

Founding members

A few founding spots in each county.

We open Hired Line one county at a time across Utah and southern Idaho. Founding members pay the standard price and keep two things later companies won't get: a rate locked for as long as they stay, and a monthly call review where we tune how their line answers.

Once a county's founding spots are taken, they're gone.

What happens if a caller smells gas?

It gives the safety steps you choose, like leaving the house right away and calling the gas utility or 911, and alerts you at once. It doesn't try to troubleshoot a gas smell over the phone.

Can it tell a true emergency from a next day call?

You set the rules, like how cold the house is or whether someone at home is elderly or has a baby. Calls that meet your rules go to your on-call tech, and the rest get the first open slot.

Can it book seasonal tune-ups?

Yes. It books furnace tune-ups in the fall and AC tune-ups in the spring into slots you've opened, and takes down the equipment details if the caller knows them.

Does it handle both heating and cooling?

Yes. It handles no heat, no cooling, thermostat problems, odd noises and new system quotes, using the questions and booking rules you set.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. You keep your number and your phone. You turn on call forwarding with your carrier, for when you don't answer or for after hours, and we walk you through it.
